Our client approached Callow Events with a brief to organise an immersive swinging 60’s party to celebrate a milestone birthday themed around his birthplace in Liverpool, The Beatles, The Cavern Club, and all things “far out”.
Callow Events were tasked with planning, designing and producing an unforgettable evening for 200 friends and family, featuring world class entertainment, a bespoke themed food & drinks menu and immersive venue design.
We completely transformed a 5-star hotel in Belfast into the iconic Cavern Club, complete with a 10m long Abbey Road photo wall, stain glass windows and red brick stage backdrop coupled with high end lighting design and styling.
The focus of this event was on the entertainment, creating an atmosphere that transported every guest, no matter their age, back to the swinging 60s. World-class entertainment from The Supreme Dream Girls, Peter Corry Productions, Bill Wooland, Tropical Storm, and the headliner, The Bootleg Beatles, kept everyone swinging on the dance floor all night long.
The guests really got into the spirit of the event, decked out in disco pants, sunglasses, and knee-high boots, even bringing their air guitars along to elevate the immersive theme.
The bespoke menu was developed in collaboration with a renowned international Chef and featured 60’s themed dishes liked our client’s childhood favourite ‘Jam Roly Poly’.
Our expert planning, creative design and production ensured that we brought the nostalgic teenage years of our client to life, the result– a truly unique, showstopping and memorable evening enjoyed by friends and family from afar.
