Job Description
As an Events Intern at Callow Events you will work closely with our experienced event managers and suppliers. This will include: drafting and updating event documents (proposals, budgets, databases etc.), researching current event trends, entertainment and venues, assisting in the creation of exciting event concepts as well as gaining on-site experience at a variety of events in different locations. A Callow Events Intern will plan and organise their own workload to meet deadlines, take on responsibility and be expected to contribute, imaginatively and effectively to team objectives and longer-term goals.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual who is creative, organised, enthusiastic, hardworking and has good written and verbal communication skills. This individual must be able to work under pressure, have ability to multi-task and use their own initiative. We are also looking for someone who has keen attention to detail, is forward thinking and quick to learn. Someone who is fun, polite and out-going would also be a bonus!

You will also have the opportunity to work with some of Northern Ireland’s most prestigious brands, clients & businesses from managing the show stage at Shoreline & Dergfest music festivals, to co-ordinating the ISPS HANDA World Invitational golf tournament.
Desirable Criteria
Full UK driving licence with access to a car during employment

Job Terms
A full time work placement for 12 months with NI’s leading events agency. Performance and training review at three and six months. Leading to the possibility of a part-time job whilst you finish your degree and a full-time position after you graduate.
