Brief

Callow Events were enlisted by their client Kainos to transform their office into a magical Christmas Grotto. The goal was to create an unforgettable experience for employees and their families to meet Santa Claus. Our focus was on transforming the venue, carefully planning customer navigation and manging bookings, as well as creating immersive activities and experiences throughout.

Result

Inspired by the film Elf, Callow Events brought New York City’s winter wonderland to the Kainos offices. We created a photo opportunity with a bespoke New York City Skyline & Zebra Crossing complete with Santa’s sleigh before guests made their way to the ‘Empire State Building’ lift to meet Santa himself.

With activities such as a Karaoke Booth for all to sing loud to hear, a Reading corner inspired by Buddy’s dad and decorate your own biscuit inspired by Buddy’s favourite meal – Candy and Pasta. We also kept guests’ thirst quenched with the world’s best Coffee (and hot chocolate). Of course, our Elf themed event wouldn’t be complete without Buddy the Elf who also made an appearance.

Once the event booking system went live, the 2-day weekend event sold out in 48 hours, and we welcomed over 600 staff and their families.
