As the Covid-19 pandemic continued to restrict in-person events, our client Business Eye wanted to remain positive about the postponement of their November 2020 awards by announcing a 2021 date as part of a virtual launch event. This virtual event was to keep sponsors & stakeholders engaged, to generate interest in the sign up to the awards & to keep momentum and excitement around the event alive and kicking into 2021.
Using our state-of-the-art live studio in the heart of Belfast, we hosted an engaging 1-hour virtual event for our clients Business Eye, to officially launch their 2020 awards. The event was live streamed via Youtube and was invite only with key stakeholders & sponsors getting exclusive access to the live event before it was open to the public for viewing after.
To encourage those invitees to tune in and as a thank you to our client’s sponsors for continuing to support the event, they were each sent a Virtual Treats brunch box to enjoy whilst tuning in from home. We welcomed a representative from AIB, the headline sponsor, into the studio for a 1-2-1 discussion with host Richard Buckley, Editor of Business Eye as well as giving a live address. Further sponsor exposure was also achieved through the running of promotional adverts acting as transitional excerpts to new discussions/formats throughout the event.
In-keeping with our virtual format, we also welcomed Darragh McCarthy, CEO FinTru and previous award winner live via Zoom into the studio, further utilising the 2m x 3m LED video wall allowing our in-studio participants to interact live with Darragh from the comfort of his own home.
The event was fast moving, engaging & informative, all enjoyed live and exclusively by our key sponsors with a delicious breakfast on the side!
