We were tasked by our client Aflac NI with creating a Christmas initiative that would still excite, engage & give thanks to the employees over a COVID limiting Christmas period. Our client wanted to reward their employees with form of Christmas gift, but wanted to ensure that there was still a personal touch & genuine effort felt by each of the team.
With the cancellation of the usual Christmas parties came the saturation of the Christmas Corporate Gifting market. The choices were endless and rather overwhelming for our client making the decision on behalf of all their employees. We wanted to focus on giving the employee themselves the choice.
Times have been tough for some families this year, and where one member of the team may love a gin hamper or grazing box to tuck into, others may like to put the generous budget towards helping buy their Children Christmas presents or put the Christmas turkey on the table.
Working to our clients per person budget, we researched and curated bespoke Christmas gifts from a variety of local suppliers and presented these in a brochure that was in-turn shared across the team, with an accompanying booking form to place an order. Gifts ranged from a Christmas dinner package with turkey & all the trimmings, to kids activity bundles, cheese & wine hampers to experience vouchers.
The portal was launched internally, and the team were given one-week to place their order. To further enhance the personal feel that Aflac NI wanted to achieve, the Callow Events team ordered every chosen item to our HQ, where it was personally wrapped in Aflac blue ribbon with an accompanying personalised and branded gift tag.
We also oversaw the delivery logistics for a group of the senior team to personally deliver each gift to a selection of employees, providing each delivery driver with a route map to take them from start to finish. A lovely personal Christmas touch!
